Hello! We are Marc and Julie Ellens, your hosts at Rivendell Place, still new to country living but loving this next chapter of our lives. We are passionate about providing a safe, peaceful space where you can rest and feel renewed in your efforts to serve the Lord. Though we haven't been here long, we quickly fell in love with this special place where the river flows noisily over stones and rocks past our home in tall trees wrapped in wild flowers. We hope you will love it here, too.
Whether you are here to rest and listen to the river in solitude, or want to feel refreshed with fun activities and time outdoors, we have a place for you.
We have more than enough kayaks and several routes for you to explore!
_______
Grab a bike and head over to our beautiful White Pine Trail for a ride.
_______
Go for a quiet walk in the neighborhood, spend a lazy afternoon in a hammock, or relax on the porch while you watch boats drift down the river.
_______
In winter, strap on some snow shoes and explore the woods in the muffled quiet of snow-trimmed trees.
_______
Spend the evening in front of a bonfire or relaxing in the hot tub.
